Aspectos físicos e fisiológicos do jovem jogador de futebol

O futebol é um dos esportes mais populares do mundo e seu desempenho depende de vários aspectos, como os fatores técnicos, táticos, físicos, fisiológicos e psicológicos. Durante uma partida de futebol, os jogadores percorrem em média 10 km, sendo a corrida a atividade predominante, mas exercícios de explosão como sprints, saltos, marcação e chute são importantes para o desempenho no futebol. A intensidade de trabalho durante uma partida de futebol é muito próxima do limiar anaeróbio (LAn). Os valores de LAn em jovens jogadores de futebol são compreendidos entre 80-90% da FCmáx ou entre 75-90% do VO2máx. Tradicionalmente, jovens jogadores de futebol possuem valores de VO2máx inferiores a 60 ml.kg-1.min-1, estes valores podem ser influenciados pela posição tática, tempo de treinamento e pelo processo de maturação biológica. A maturação biológica tem um impacto relevante no processo de detecção de talentos, pois é relacionada com o desempenho técnico e físico, no qual atletas mais avançados no processo maturacional possuem maiores níveis de força, potência e capacidade aeróbia em relação aos indivíduos menos avançados.
