Nursing team experience in coping with COVID-19

Objective: Understand and report the nursing team experience facing the pandemic of the coronavirus disease. Methods: Qualitative, descriptive and exploratory study. 11 nurses and 5 nursing technicians were interviewed. The data collect was done through semi-structured interviews and analyzed narratives by the perspective of Janesick. Results: The analyzed narratives made possible the elaboration of three categories: The change of work routine in the fight against COVID 19 pandemic, challenges in the COVID 19 pandemic; nursing team new perspectives. Conclusion: The routine has changed, and certainly people will have new visions and perspectives after the pandemic. This study contributes to the understanding of the nursing team experience in a pandemic without precedents.
