Objective: To analyze and compare the sociodemographic, clinical and mortality aspects of women with cervical cancer (CC) treated in the public system of Pará and Brazil. Methods: Descriptive, cross-sectional and retrospective study with a quantitative approach. Secondary data from the Hospital Cancer Registry were used, which were obtained through the integrating module of the Hospital Cancer Registries and data from the Mortality Information System. The t-Student test was used to compare two populations: Pará and Brazil. Results: The sociodemographic profile of patients who underwent treatment in the public system of Pará is characterized by women aged 40 to 49 years, with a predominance of women of brown color, incomplete elementary school and married. Stages 2B and 3B were the most frequent, the most recurrent histological type was squamous cell carcinoma, the most frequent treatment was chemotherapy and radiotherapy concomitantly, and the disease state at the end of treatment was stabilization of the disease. Conclusion: Despite the advances in the screening and early diagnosis of CC, it was identified that there was a similarity in the mortality rate in Pará and Brazil, with a trend of increasing mortality in the period from 2007 to 2017.
