Aims: To identify in the literature which integrative and complementary practices are recommended for health workers with fibromyalgia and analyze, based on the material found, the impact of the use of these practices on the worker's health. Methods: Integrative review performed in the databases Latin American and Caribbean Literature on Health Sciences, Web of Science, Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature, Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online via PubMed and SciVerse Scopus. Articles were selected from May 2010 to June 2020. Results: 13 publications were found that positively identified the practice of aerobic and strength exercises, as well as the association with acupuncture, individual and collective therapies to improve the health of the worker. It was evident that the lack of pain control and muscle restrictions translate into leaves of absence, early retirements, and increased costs for public and supplementary health care. Conclusion: Exercises and complementary practices are safe and have good results. Used in an associated way, the health worker can benefit from this form of holisthic and individualized care.
