Análise eletromiográfica dos músculos estabilizadores da escápula durante os exercí­cios push up e bench press em atletas universitários com e sem sí­ndrome do impacto do ombro

Resumo

Introdução: Exercí­cios em cadeia cinética fechada são comumente empregados na reabilitação da Sí­ndrome do Impacto do Ombro (SIO), condição dolorosa comum em atletas que pode estar relacionada ao desequilí­brio muscular entre os estabilizadores da escápula. Objetivo: Comparar a atividade eletromiográfica dos músculos estabilizadores da escápula durante a realização dos exercí­cios push up e bench press em atletas com e sem SIO. Material e métodos: 10 atletas divididos em dois grupos (com e sem SIO) realizaram o movimento de push up e bench press. Foram adquiridos dados EMG do trapézio superior (TS), trapézio médio (TM), trapézio inferior (TI) e serrátil anterior (SA). O sinal foi normalizado pela contração isométrica voluntária máxima e apresentado em percentual da CIVM. As comparações foram realizadas por meio da ANOVA One Way. Resultados: Não houve diferença entre os grupos no bench press. No push up foi possí­vel observar uma maior atividade eletromiográfica dos músculos TI e SA nos atletas sem SIO. Em ambos os grupos o músculo SA obteve maior atividade eletromiográfica no bench press. Conclusão: Os resultados evidenciaram uma maior atividade eletromiográfica do TI e SA no push up nos atletas sem SIO. Já no bench press não houve diferença na atividade EMG entre grupos.
