Influência de variáveis relacionadas ao protocolo experimental no déficit de força muscular mediado pelo alongamento

Resumo

Um grande número de estudos tem demonstrado que exercí­cios de alongamento podem diminuir o desempenho de força muscular, fenômeno descrito como déficit de força muscular mediado pelo alongamento. De qualquer forma, nenhuma conclusão pode ser realizada com relação a esse fenômeno, uma vez que variáveis relacionadas ao protocolo experimental utilizado nos estudos podem influenciar sua magnitude. O presente estudo apresenta uma revisão sistemática de artigos cujo objetivo foi analisar a influência de variáveis relacionadas às rotinas de alongamento e ao método de avaliação da força muscular na magnitude do déficit de força muscular mediado pelo alongamento. Foi realizada uma busca nos bancos de dados: Medline; Pubmed; Lilacs e Sport Discus. Após a busca, foram analisados 15 estudos relacionados ao tema. Com base nos estudos encontrados, a presente revisão demonstra que variáveis relacionadas ao protocolo experimental podem ter uma forte influência na magnitude do déficit de força muscular mediado pelo alongamento.
