Focus and Scope
The objective of the Revista Brasileira de Fisiologia do Exercício (RBFex) is the study of the movement and physical exercise, in the physiological and pathophysiological dimensions. RBFex publishes original articles and reviews on muscle physiology, training in individual and team sports, training protocols according to age groups (from adolescence to old age), application of exercise in the rehabilitation of pathological syndromes (metabolic and neurological disorders, cardiovascular and respiratory diseases).
The themes studied by RBFex are relevant for professionals and academics in the areas of Physical Education, Physiotherapy, Sports Medicine and related areas such as Psychology and Nutrition.
The magazine has three main research axes (areas): physical and sporting performance; Exercise physiology applied to rehabilitation; Molecular physiology and bioenergetics.
Open Access and Copyright Policy
RBFex offers free immediate access to its content, without the need for registration, which is mandatory only in the case of work submission. The authors remain holders of the article's copyright, enabling its divulgation in repositories, blog pages or other supports, thus favoring the divulgation of knowledge. The journal has the right of first publication and must be cited in case of later divulgation in other supports.
RBFEx is an open access journal distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0), which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.
