O efeito de suplementação de simbióticos e exercícios aeróbios sobre a inflamação sistêmica em indivíduos idosos obesos

O processo de envelhecimento traz consigo alterações fisiológicas associadas ao avanço da idade que singulariza um aumento na produção de citocinas pró-inflamatórias, caracterizando uma condição de inflamação crônica de baixo grau. O objetivo deste estudo é verificar os benefícios da suplementação de substância simbiótica junto com exercícios aeróbios, diminuindo a inflamação sistêmica de idosos obesos. Indicando a hipótese de que esta inflamação de baixo nível está associada a um desequilíbrio na microbiota, a alterações na permeabilidade intestinal e a diminuição com exercícios aeróbicos, que estimulam, através da contração muscular, a produção de interleucina-6 (IL-6) que promove um ambiente anti-inflamatório. A estratégia de busca desenvolvida foi encontrar artigos controlados que avaliaram os parâmetros inflamatórios em indivíduos idosos obesos tendo um resultado significativo. Portanto, o uso de substâncias simbióticas e o exercício físico são capazes de reduzir a produção e a ação de marcadores inflamatórios, podendo prevenir doenças crônicas de baixo grau.
