The aim of this study was to compare the muscle power of cyclists and street runners lower limbs from Squat Jump tests (SJ) and Counter Movement Jump (CMJ) using iphone application software and a Sargent Jump Test (SJT). The sample consisted of ten cyclists and ten street runners male of non-organized groups. The results showed significant difference in the power of street runners lower limbs (SJ 1160W, CMJ-1257,7W and SJT-1552,4 kgm/s) compared to cyclists (SJ 1103W, CMJ- 1133,3W and SJT- 1558,1 kgm/s) in which the CMJ had p = 0.01, showing that street runners had a better power of the lower limbs. We conclude that the street runners have got a better performance for the variable power of the lower limbs in SJ and CMJ tests. The SJT test showed a non-significant advantage for cyclists.
