Editorial: Muscle stretching - a practice sustained by habit?

Stretching techniques are constantly applied in settings such as gyms, sports competitions, and rehabilitation centers. These techniques are defined as muscle stretching exercises, which provide the increase of sarcomere boundaries, especially when submitted to a time longer than 40 seconds.
