Abstract

Stretching techniques are constantly applied in settings such as gyms, sports competitions, and rehabilitation centers. These techniques are defined as muscle stretching exercises, which provide the increase of sarcomere boundaries, especially when submitted to a time longer than 40 seconds. The use of stretching as a resource to gain or maintain range of motion is already established [1]; however, several other justifications are raised in opposition to the scientific literature...
