Introduction: The world is experiencing a reality caused by the SARS-Cov-2 pandemic and its variants. One of the aggravating factors for a patient with COVID-19 is the presence of some comorbidity, including asthma. Objective: Analyze the studies conducted on asthma and COVID-19 in children, describe the evidence found so far. Method: It consists of an integrative literature review, with a guiding question elaborated through the PICO strategy. Results: 18 articles made up the final sample as they met the inclusion criteria and were derived from the Medline database via Pubmed. Conclusion: The understanding of the relationship between SARS-CoV-2 infection and asthma in pediatrics is still incipient, however the evidence suggests that it is not a risk factor for infection and may still be a protective factor. However, extensive researches with larger samples is essential for a better analysis.
