Estrategias metodológicas en la enseñanza de primeros auxilios a escolares: revisión de alcance

Introducción: La estrategia educativa debe estar vinculada a la etapa de desarrollo del niño y las actividades lúdicas pueden utilizarse en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje. Objetivo: Identificar las estrategias metodológicas utilizadas en la enseñanza de primeros auxilios a escolares. Métodos: Revisión de alcance realizada en marzo de 2020, sobre ocho fuentes de datos nacionales e internacionales. Se siguieron las recomendaciones del Instituto Joanna Briggs. Resultados: Se incluyeron 13 estudios de 2013 a 2018. Las estrategias metodológicas más observadas fueron: entrenamiento teórico asociado a habilidades prácticas, uso de PowerPoint, videos, fotos, maniquíes, desfibrilador externo automático, objetos lúdicos como gasas, vendajes y apósitos, rueda conversación interactiva, elaboración de situaciones problemáticas de ficción, simulación de heridas y quemaduras con almíbar y maquillaje, entrega de folletos informativos, pintura de dibujos, kits de autoaprendizaje, juegos digitales, juegos de mesa y espectáculos de teatro de marionetas. Quienes más utilizaron estas metodologías fueron los profesionales de la salud, profesores e instructores. Conclusión: Principales estrategias encontradas: elaboración de situaciones problemáticas, uso de juegos y maniquíes.
