Proceso de enfermería en el paciente con herida crónica en atención primaria y secundaria: una revisión de alcance

Resumen

Objetivo: Identificar la implementación del Proceso de Enfermería para atender pacientes con heridas en Atención Primaria y Secundaria. Métodos: Revisión integrada por estudios seleccionados de las bases de datos Lilacs, BDENF, IBECS, CUMED, CINAHL, Medline (vía Pubmed), EMBASE, Scopus y Science Direct. Resultados: Analizados nueve estudios, 66,7% en Atención Primaria y 33,3% en Secundaria. El Proceso de Enfermería no estaba integralmente implementado, ningún estudio describió sus cinco etapas. En el 55,5% se identificó el cuidado y los vendajes realizados por auxiliares de enfermería. La documentación y registro del Proceso de Enfermería no fue descrita en los estudios. Conclusión: Se evidenció la fragmentación del Proceso de Enfermería y su ejecución empírica y desarticulada. Conocer el escenario de atención de asistencia de enfermería en la atención del paciente con heridas es esencial para reflexiones y cambios de prácticas y acciones para alcanzar calidad asistencial.
